Role summary

The IAM Program Manager will report to the IAM Vice President and manage the daily responsibilities and deliverables for 5 Directors. This Chief-of-Staff role requires an independent, proactive candidate skilled in managing strict timelines, risks, and issues to ensure organizational deliverables meet quality standards. The Program Manager will own governance processes, track and report IAM deliverables, and represent the IAM organization in cross-company forums. Key responsibilities include executive-level communication, program planning and execution, risk management, and roadmap development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence is required, with a basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts.

Job Description ::

The Program Manager reports directly to the IAM Vice President and manages the day-to-day responsibilities and deliverables of 5 Directors. This "Chief-of-Staff" position requires a candidate who can work independently, manage to strict timelines, and proactively manage risks and issues. The primary responsibility is to ensure organizational deliverables meet the timeliness and quality standards established for the team. The Program Manager owns all governance processes including the tracking and reporting of all IAM deliverables such as goals, accomplishments, status reports, etc. The Program Manager also represents the IAM organization in various cross-company intake and capacity planning forums and is the primary point-of-contact for risks, issues, and escalations. The position requires an individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills

• Conceptualize and deliver executive level presentations

• Ensure all deliverables meet organizational standards for timeliness and quality

• Establish high level organizational goals

• Maintain project delivery roadmaps for IAM key initiatives

• Define, track, and report quantifiable metrics, goals, and accomplishments

• Identify and manage program level risks

• Track completion of program deliverables

• Independently facilitate team meetings and gain consensus on key decisions

• Work with other program managers to track and manage cross-domain dependencies

Must Have Skills

• Executive-level communication and reporting

• Deep program management skills including end-to-end planning and execution

• Ability to work independently and proactively manage challenging situations

• Basic understanding of standard Cybersecurity domains and concepts

• Expertise in Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

• Proficiency in Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence and other productivity tools

Preferred Skills

• Prior Comcast or MSO experience

• Identity and Access Management domain knowledge

• Development of dashboard applications (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
