Auditor/Audit Product Lead
Role summary
We are seeking a product-minded Auditor/Audit Product Lead with 6-12+ years of audit experience to join our growing technology company. This role bridges the gap between our AI audit platform and real-world audit practices. You will be responsible for product design, translating audit workflows into software, leading sales engineering efforts, managing customer onboarding and implementation, and gathering feedback to inform the product roadmap. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in SOX, internal audit, or risk consulting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging AI and automation to innovate the audit profession. The Role:
This is not a traditional audit role.
We are looking for product-minded auditors to help reimagine how compliance work is performed. In this role, you will be the bridge between our technology and the real world. You will work across the entire customer lifecycle—from demonstrating the platform’s value to prospects, to helping clients implement the tool, to collaborating with our engineers to turn your audit expertise into scalable software.
What You’ll Do:
- Product Design:
Work closely with engineering and product teams to translate complex audit workflows and standards into AI-driven functionality.
- Sales Engineering:
Lead product demonstrations for potential customers, acting as the technical expert who understands their specific pain points.
- Customer Success & Onboarding:
Manage the implementation process for new clients, ensuring successful adoption and a smooth transition from manual processes.
- Iteration & Feedback:
Maintain a continuous feedback loop with customers to identify product gaps and help prioritize the development roadmap.
- Innovation:
Help define best practices for automated audit processes and contribute to new product development within the platform.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for experienced auditors who bring both strong technical expertise and a desire to innovate.
- Experience:
6–12+ years of audit experience; Manager to Senior Manager level experience is a big plus
- Background:
Deep expertise in SOX, internal audit, or risk consulting, ideally from a Big Four firm, top-tier consulting firm, or a sophisticated internal audit function
- Communication:
Ability to build rapport, collaborate cross-functionally, and explain audit concepts to technical audiences
- Mindset:
High agency and a genuine curiosity about how AI and automation can solve the inefficiencies of traditional auditing

Location:
Office: 500 3rd St, San Francisco, CA (in office a few days a week is ideal)

Compensation:
- Base Salary: $160,000 – $220,000 + Equity
