Role summary

A mid-senior Backend Software Engineer is sought to contribute to system design and the delivery of user-facing features within a Real Estate Tech company. The role involves a balance of hands-on coding, architectural input, and operational stewardship. Responsibilities include designing, building, and operating services with clear ownership and on-call participation, contributing to technical design documents, leading small cross-team projects, and improving performance, reliability, and developer experience. The engineer will also coach junior engineers through reviews and pairing. A minimum of 5-7 years of software engineering experience is required, along with proficiency in a major language like Python, Java, Go, or C++, and experience with cloud infrastructure, observability, and CI/CD.
