Litigation Attorney

Ankuda, Stadler & Moeller Ltd.
is currently seeking an experienced litigation attorney to work in its Cleveland, Ohio office. Qualified candidate will have three (3) to seven (7) years' experience in civil litigation. Additional experience in insurance defense litigation, insurance coverage litigation, construction and/or product liability litigation a plus.

Qualified candidate must have an excellent academic record, a strong work ethic, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior judgment, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to effectively handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, discovery, and corresponding with Judges, attorneys, and insurance claims professionals
• Attending court hearings
• Managing all phases of written discovery, including detailed analysis of injury claims
• Taking and defending depositions of parties and witnesses
• Total case management and development of litigation strategy
• Alternative dispute resolution
• Researching legal issues, complex coverage questions, and completing formal legal opinions
• Evaluating personal injury claims
• Collaboration with Litigation Paralegals
• Reviewing employment, financial and tax records
• Management and coordination of all phases of litigated case files

Candidate must be licensed in Ohio.
