What We Are Looking For:

This is a unique opportunity for a Backend Software Engineer to architect, design and build new features, contributing to the Antaris enterprise software.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the engineering processes, tooling, standards, scalability and performance optimization of backend systems
• Architect, design and build new features and deliver them as enterprise software
• Drive API design and implementation using protobuf and OpenAPI
• Improved software products through code reviews, refactoring and optimization
• Explore new technologies, frameworks and libraries to expand the teams’ solutions for space
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to manage execution expectations

Required Skills:

• 5 Years of industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale systems in production
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields
• Strong background in Golang and Python
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker – directly interfacing with their APIs via software
• Experience with the Unix ecosystem tools (git, bash, etc)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility or prior experience working on government related projects
• Experience with satellite systems and simulations
