Industrial Hygienist - Scientist II
Role summary
Apex Companies is seeking an Industrial Hygienist – Scientist II in Iselin, NJ. This field-heavy role involves traditional industrial hygiene and building sciences, including exposure monitoring, environmental sampling, and indoor environmental quality assessments. Responsibilities include conducting personal exposure monitoring, noise dosimetry, collecting various samples (noise, water, air, building materials), analyzing data, and preparing technical reports. Key areas of focus include chemical and noise exposure assessments, indoor environmental quality, mold and water intrusion assessments, asbestos abatement oversight, and lead-based paint inspections. The role requires a BA/BS in a related field and at least 2 years of technical experience. Preferred qualifications include asbestos, lead, or mold inspector certifications and additional EHS certifications.
