Role summary

Appficiency's product division, SnapOn Software, is seeking a Director of Product Innovation to lead product strategy, innovation, and commercial growth. This executive-facing role requires defining product vision and roadmaps, identifying market opportunities, driving revenue, and establishing customer-centric discovery frameworks. The director will also provide executive oversight of internal IT operations during a transition. Key responsibilities include building and scaling a product organization, integrating AI and automation, and expanding strategic partnerships within ecosystems like Microsoft, NetSuite, and Salesforce. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in Product Management, including 3+ years in senior leadership, with a proven track record in B2B SaaS products, technical fluency, and experience managing budgets and GTM teams.

The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, executive-facing leadership role with a dual mandate:

  • Lead product strategy, innovation, and commercial growth for SnapOn Software
  • Provide executive oversight of internal technology and IT operations during a transition period

This role is designed for a leader who can operate at both strategic and operational altitudes—setting vision while driving execution in a scaling environment.
What You’ll Do
Product Strategy, Innovation & Growth

  • Define and operationalize a clear product vision and multi-year roadmap aligned to company growth objectives
  • Identify and validate new market opportunities, leading product development from ideation through commercialization
  • Own and drive software revenue growth, partnering closely with Sales and Marketing to deliver against targets
  • Establish a customer-centric product discovery framework, grounded in user insights and market intelligence
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing product organization (Product Management, Design, Engineering alignment and Development)
  • Implement performance metrics (KPIs/OKRs) to enable data-driven product decisions and accountability
  • Champion the integration of AI, automation, and emerging technologies across the product suite
  • Expand and strengthen strategic partnerships within the different ecosystems like Microsoft, NetSuite/Oracle and Salesforce

Technology & IT Leadership

  • Provide executive oversight of internal IT systems, infrastructure, and security posture
  • Ensure operational stability, scalability, and compliance across all technology platforms
  • Rationalize and optimize the enterprise technology stack and vendor ecosystem
  • Establish business continuity and risk mitigation frameworks
  • Lead the transition and handoff of IT leadership responsibilities to a dedicated function

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, including 3+ years in a senior leadership capacity
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling B2B SaaS products with measurable commercial impact
  • Strong understanding of product commercialization and revenue ownership
  • Technical fluency across APIs, integrations, and cloud-based architectures
  • Experience overseeing or partnering closely with IT operations and infrastructure functions
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at the executive level
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive execution in ambiguous, fast-scaling environments
  • Able to manage budget, interact with sales and drive product pipeline through established GTM teams

Differentiators

  • Experience within the Microsoft, Salesforces and or NetSuite/Oracle ecosystem
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven products or automation platforms
  • Background in professional services or hybrid SaaS/services business models
  • Experience scaling product organizations from early-stage to growth-stage
  • Advanced business or technical education (MBA, MSc, etc.)
