Role summary

AC Wellness Network LLC, a subsidiary of Apple Inc., is seeking a Clinical Implementation Specialist to join their dedicated medical group serving Apple Wellness Centers. This role focuses on developing innovative, patient-centered care experiences by designing and implementing clinical care models. The specialist will create clinical protocols, translate them into product requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have deep subject matter expertise in clinical practice and care model design, with experience in various health systems. An MD or DO with 3+ years in clinical practice and 2+ years in care model design/implementation is required. This is a site-based position with a salary range of $212,000 - $318,400.

AC Wellness Network LLC is a subsidiary of Apple Inc. and is the dedicated management services organization (MSO) for AC Wellness, a dedicated independent medical group that serves Apple Wellness Centers in Santa Clara Valley. Our mission is to deliver the world’s best healthcare experiences for Apple employees.
As part of the Clinical Team, ACW is looking for an individual who will partner with team members to develop new care experiences. Candidates must possess deep subject matter expertise in designing and implementing clinical care models. The candidate should also have an understanding of a variety of health systems and consumer-oriented health offerings.
This is a site-based role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to build innovative patient-centered experiences, is effective at executing detailed deliverables on time, is capable of working closely with cross-functional teams, engages in open discussion and debate well, and is not afraid of a challenge. This person must be an out-of-the box thinker dedicated to building excellent innovative experiences for users/patients, even at the expense of provider satisfaction, while advocating constantly for functional yet delightful designs for providers and patients.","responsibilities":"Create clinical protocols and workflows to support patient-centered product experiences
Distill protocols and knowledge into requirements and principles that inform product development on care experiences and provider dashboards
Define current guidelines, best practices, and standards of care and identify gaps in current practices and standards of care
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on clinical product development
Communicate and manage relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
Anticipate, adjust for, and communicate problems, risks, and roadblocks.
Identify new opportunities for innovation in care delivery including in the implementation of Apple features into care models
Preferred Qualifications
Board certified in internal medicine, emergency medicine, or family medicine
Has experience with outpatient care across multiple health systems / practice settings (ie kaiser vs private vs academic)
Product development experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to simplify complex clinical concepts and communicate these to non-medical team members.
Independent self-starter who thrives in complex and ambiguous environments
Minimum Qualifications
MD or DO
3+ years of experience in clinical practice
2+ years in care model design or implementation

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $212,000 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
