Android Software Engineer

• As a Android Software Engineer on the Vehicle OS team, you will be at the heart of designing, building, and maintaining advanced Android apps that power next-generation vehicle intelligence and software at scale
• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver smooth, innovative, and reliable features—ultimately driving the transition to a software-defined future for the automotive industry
• Design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications that delight users and set new standards for in-vehicle experiences
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to bring new features from concept to production
• Optimize app performance, stability, and quality through best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement
• Integrate your applications with Applied Vehicle OS and ensure seamless end-to-end functionality
• Contribute to technical standards, architecture discussions, and sprint planning as part of a collaborative team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and tools to drive innovation

• Deep expertise in Kotlin and Java for Android
• 2-4+ years of experience shipped apps at scale
• 3+ years of Android or iOS application development experience
• Track record of writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Self-starter attitude and comfort working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, etc.)
