AQS, Inc. seeks a Senior Program Manager for its Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) division in Garland, TX. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire program lifecycle for assigned customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert. Key duties include managing programs from quoting through production and post-manufacturing support, coordinating cross-functional teams (production, engineering, quality), driving operational excellence, and ensuring programs meet organizational and financial objectives. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of program management experience, a strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing, and excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing is highly desirable.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Program Manager to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. In this critical role, you will serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for assigned customer accounts. You will oversee the full program lifecycle, ensuring successful execution, budget management, and maximum client satisfaction in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Leadership: Act as the dedicated primary point of contact for all communications; develop a deep understanding of customer products, requirements, and business needs.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee programs from the initial quoting process and system entry through production to final delivery and post-manufacturing support (RMA/Warranty).
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive and coordinate engineering changes, product enhancements, and redesigns by collaborating effectively with production, engineering, and quality departments.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead New Order Launch meetings, perform thorough purchase order reviews, and interpret complex customer documentation/specifications.
  • Performance Tracking: Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to discuss performance, future needs, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Strategic Growth: Identify process improvements, mitigate project risks, and ensure all programs meet organizational and financial objectives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in Program or Project Management, preferably within a contract manufacturing (EMS) environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing, electromechanical assemblies, and system integration. Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Skills: \* Proven track record in scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and professional project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Mindset: A proactive problem-solver with demonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for exceptional customer service.

Pay: $69,870.69 - $84,145.34 per year
