Cyber Security Analyst
Role summary
The Cyber Threat Analyst will support liaison discussions with stakeholders regarding current cyber threats affecting customer systems and business operations. This role involves working with Threat Modelling Specialists to assess the likelihood and impact of cyber-attacks within IT/OT environments, including field sites and SCADA systems. Responsibilities include conducting threat modeling, identifying critical vulnerabilities, proposing defensive strategies, and developing tailored threat models. The analyst will also maintain relationships with stakeholders to improve integration across IT, business, and industry. A degree or equivalent experience in information systems or security is required, along with basic knowledge of IT systems, security appliances, and modeling frameworks. Experience in physical security, such as law enforcement or military, is preferred. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Role Description & Responsibilities
Support liaison discussions with stakeholders regarding current cyber threats that may affect customers systems or business operations.
Work with Threat Modelling Specialist to differentiate the likelihood and impact of cyber-attacks within both the OTICS environments as well as the corporate network environment.
With guidance and templates| conduct threat modelling activities to map out a given environment| identify critical notes and associated attack paths and propose defensive strategies to mitigate the risk of attacks exploiting them to impact operations.
Develop tailored threat models within the ITOT space| with a focus on field sites| SCADA| and tier 12 support applications.
Develop and maintain working relationships with related stakeholders in operations both within and outside of security| leading to improved integration to IT| the business and industry
Contributes to an environment of service excellence to all clients - 16|000
The team is reliant on the positions recommendations being technically sound and consistently adding value
Skills And Qualifications
Degreediploma in information systems| information security| physical security| or equivalent work experience.
Experience in physical security| preferably law enforcement or military experience.
Basic knowledge of various IT systems| including IP transport (routingswitchingfirewalls)| security appliances (IPSIDSproxyAVEDR)| application frameworks| monitoring systems| and other technologies.
Basic knowledge of contemporary modelling frameworks.
Ability to work on and continuously deliver on numerous competing priorities simultaneously.
Excellent analytical| problem solving| technical writing| verbal communication| and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced Reliability Check (ERC) minimum| GoC security clearance would be an asset.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with global teams| develop staff| be a thought leader| and drive innovation.
