Role summary
Arm's Solution Engineering division is seeking a Principal Design Lead to join their hardware development team. This role involves leading an IP-design team focused on scalable and reconfigurable features for Enterprise, Auto, and Client markets. Responsibilities include crafting micro-architecture specifications, developing RTL, performing design checks, and collaborating with architects and verification teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital hardware design using System Verilog, analog IP integration, and static design checks, with preferred experience in ARM architectures and scripting languages.

As we continue to grow, we need talented engineers responsible for the development of products across Enterprise, Auto and Client markets.
**Job Overview:**
- Lead an IP-design team who develop features for scalable/reconfigurable usages.
- Crafting design micro-architecture specifications, developing RTL, fixing bugs, performing design checks and generating of implementation constraints.
- Partner with architects to translate subsystem requirements, and develop the design specifications which meet the quality, reliability, manufacturing and reconfigurable needs.
- Partner with verification to review test plans and debug issues.
- Act as 1-Arm ensuring the best solutions are what Arm uses.
**Responsibilities:**
- Digital hardware design for complex systems using System Verilog.
- Analog hard IP integration, timing diagrams, BMODs
- Reconfigurable IP / Subsystem design
- Power and clock domain crossing
- Static design checks like linting, CDC/RDC, X-propagation
**Required Skills and Experience:**
In Addition To Your Accomplishment Of Bachelors Or Higher In Computer Science Or Electrical/Computer Engineering Or a Similar Related Field And Experience Working In Design Of Complex Subsystems Or SoCs, You Should Bring Experience In:
- Digital hardware design for complex systems using System Verilog.
- Analog hard IP integration, timing diagrams, BMODs
- Reconfigurable IP / Subsystem design
- Power and clock domain crossing
- Static design checks like linting, CDC/RDC, X-propagation
- Collaboration
**“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:**
- ARM-based designs and/or ARM System Architectures
- Developing designs for OTP/Fuse usage models and JTAG/TAP protocols
- Perl, Python or other scripting language
- SoC system debug methodologies
- DFT methodologies: RTL testability, scan insertion, OCC

**Salary Range:**
$241,100-$326,100 per year
