About the Role

Arnet Technologies is hiring a Microsoft 365 / SharePoint / Power Platform Engineer to join our growing Modern Work practice. This is a client-facing, hands-on delivery role — the kind of position where you will spend your days designing SharePoint environments, migrating content from file servers to the cloud, and building real business applications on the Power Platform.

What sets this role apart is the combination we are looking for: someone who understands Microsoft 365 administration deeply and can also write code. If you have worked with Power Apps and Power Automate and have a development background (Object Oriented Programming, JavaScript, or similar), this role was built for you.

What You Will Do

SharePoint & Microsoft 365

  • Design and oversee the implementation of SharePoint environments: hub sites, communication sites, team sites, metadata, content types, and navigation.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 tenants including Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
  • Lead client migrations from file servers to SharePoint, including permissions modeling, data cleanup, and user enablement.
  • Apply governance best practices: content lifecycle, retention policies, and security configuration.

Power Platform Development

  • Build Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) backed by SharePoint lists and Dataverse.
  • Create Power Automate flows for approvals, process automation, and system integration.
  • Develop Power BI reports and dashboards to surface operational data for clients.

Custom Development & Integration

  • Write application code in Object Oriented Languages, JavaScript/TypeScript, PowerShell, or SQL to extend what low-code tools cannot do alone.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and then into working solutions.
  • Document solutions clearly for both technical reviewers and end users.

Client Engagement

  • Work directly with client stakeholders to discover needs, propose solutions, and guide adoption.
  • Produce job aids, training materials, and quick-start guides for end users and client admins.
  • Contribute to Statements of Work and project estimates.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Software development experience in any language — Object Oriented Languages is strongly preferred, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Power Platform.
  • Comfort with SQL, JSON, PowerShell, and REST APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to design SharePoint information architecture for real organizations.
  • Experience building Power Apps and Power Automate solutions that solve actual business problems.
  • Working knowledge of Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, and M365 tenant administration.
  • Strong communication skills and a service mindset; comfortable working directly with clients.

Preferred

  • Microsoft certifications: PL-400, PL-900, SharePoint Administrator Associate, or MS-102.
  • Experience with Dataverse, including data modeling and business rules.
  • Familiarity with AvePoint or similar migration/governance tooling.
  • Prior MSP or IT consulting background.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, or Microsoft Purview.

Why Arnet Technologies

  • Work on a variety of client environments — no two projects are the same.
  • A role where both your admin skills and your development skills are valued equally.
  • Collaborative team with deep Microsoft expertise and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Hybrid flexibility with client engagement that keeps the work interesting.
  • We leverage leading tools such as AvePoint, Kaseya, Huntress
