Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling complex systems that power our platform. You aren’t just a coder; you are a problem-solver who enjoys architectural challenges and mentoring junior developers to elevate the entire team's technical bar.

What You’ll Do

• Architect & Build: Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable back-end services and APIs.
• Lead Technical Strategy: Participate in architectural reviews and drive technical decision-making for new features and system optimizations.
• Code Excellence: Write clean, high-performance code and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and security.
• Collaborate: Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and DevOps to translate business requirements into technical reality.
• Mentor: Guide and support mid-level and junior engineers through technical challenges and career growth.
• Innovate: Stay ahead of industry trends and evaluate new technologies (such as AI-driven automation and modern cloud infrastructure) to improve our stack.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Language 1, e.g., Python/Go and Language 2, e.g., Java/TypeScript.
• Systems Design: Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and database design (SQL/NoSQL).
• Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Tooling: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a "product-first" mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
