Role summary

A leading medical device innovator seeks a Senior AI/Machine Learning Engineer to join its R&D team. This role focuses on developing advanced AI/ML models and signal processing algorithms for analyzing physiological data to enable new non-invasive health measurements. You will work with large datasets from sensors, clinical systems, and multimedia sources to develop technologies for disease detection, diagnosis, and prediction of critical health events. Responsibilities include developing ML/DL models, building algorithms, analyzing data, training models in the cloud, implementing algorithms on embedded systems, and contributing to innovations. Requires 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, deep learning, or signal processing, proficiency in Python/MATLAB/C/C++, and experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. Familiarity with embedded systems and DSP architectures is also needed.

You’ll work with large datasets from sensors, clinical systems, and multimedia sources to help develop technologies that support disease detection, diagnosis, and prediction of critical health events.

What You'll Do

- Develop
machine learning and deep learning models
for healthcare applications
- Build algorithms using
ML, deep learning, digital signal processing, and numerical modeling
- Analyze large physiological datasets from
sensors and clinical data sources
- Train and evaluate models using
cloud-based datasets
- Implement algorithms on
embedded systems and medical devices
- Prototype new technologies and contribute to
patentable innovations
- Collaborate with
cross-functional R&D teams (hardware, software, systems)
- Support clinical data analysis and research studies

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years of experience
in AI/ML, deep learning, or signal processing
- Experience with
regression, classification, clustering, CNNs, RNNs, etc.
- Strong programming in
Python, MATLAB, C, or C++
- Experience with
PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or scikit-learn
- Familiarity with
embedded systems and DSP architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

- Experience working with
biomedical or physiological signals
- Knowledge of
human physiology or clinical research environments

Education

MS or PhD in
Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field

Compensation
:
*The anticipated range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000*
.
*Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.*
