Product Security Engineer
Role summary
Astranis is seeking a Product Security Engineer to join their team. This role involves embedding security into the software development lifecycle for web applications and services. Responsibilities include performing security code reviews, penetration testing, threat modeling, and risk assessments. The engineer will also provide guidance on secure coding practices and collaborate with development teams to build secure systems. The position requires 2+ years of experience in software engineering with a security focus, proficiency in Python and modern web frameworks, and strong analytical and communication skills. The role is hybrid with a base salary range of $130,000 - $215,000 USD.

Product Security Engineer
As a Product Security Engineer at Astranis, you are a software engineer with a passion for security, responsible for building and securing our web applications and services. Your role will involve embedding security into the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment. While your primary role is to build secure software in Python and modern web stacks, your expertise will be used to identify vulnerabilities, conduct security reviews, and help engineering teams raise the bar for security across the board.
