Field Technician
Role summary
Astro Pak is seeking motivated Associate Field Technicians to travel nationwide and learn a specialized technical trade in industries like aerospace, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and advanced manufacturing. This role involves hands-on work with specialized equipment and chemical cleaning/passivation processes, requiring over 80% travel and potential night/weekend shifts. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, safety-focused, comfortable with tools and travel, and possess a valid driver's license. No prior experience is required as extensive paid training and certifications are provided, with opportunities for career growth into senior technical or leadership roles. The position offers a competitive starting hourly wage of $22/hour, a sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in on-site cleaning of high purity gas and fluid systems, as well as precision cleaning of components and hardware at the company’s Cleanroom facilities. Astro Pak provides services to over 15 sectors including: Data Centers, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and other selected Industrial markets. The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, Canada, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico.

What You’ll Experience

You’ll receive immersive training and work alongside experienced technicians performing specialized chemical cleaning and passivation on mission-critical fluid and gas systems.
Every project is different. One week you may be working at a semiconductor facility, the next supporting aerospace manufacturing.
