Cyber Security Engineer, Fort Worth, TX (onsite)

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect/Engineer to strengthen application security across the region. The ideal candidate will deploy, operationalize, and mature application-level security capabilities while collaborating with development, cloud, and business teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage application security tools and frameworks.
• Identify, assess, and remediate application vulnerabilities.
• Conduct threat modeling and secure profiling (STRIDE, MITRE, C4).
• Provide hands-on guidance for secure SDLC and Azure-based applications.
• Design secure authentication/authorization models (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML) and integrate with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD.
• Secure Azure workloads (App Services, AKS, VMs) and implement governance via Defender for Cloud & Azure Policy.
• Deliver security training and awareness to teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• CISSP required, CCSP recommended.
• Azure certifications: AZ-104 required, AZ-500/700/140 recommended.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity architecture/engineering with strong application security and threat modeling experience.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Fortify, Burp Suite, Qualys, CrowdStrike, RedSeal, Wiz, Defect Dojo.
• Strong knowledge of NIST, OWASP Top 10, and enterprise security design patterns.

Skills:

• Deep understanding of Azure and enterprise cloud architecture.
• Ability to identify vulnerabilities via code review, testing, and infrastructure assessments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
