Our client is a fast-growing Series A AI startup (~17-person team) building an AI system that deeply understands codebases and powers developer tools like code review and debugging. They’ve raised ~$30M from top-tier investors and are growing quickly with strong enterprise adoption.

They’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale their core infrastructure as the product and customer base expand.

What you’ll do

• Own and maintain core infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform)
• Build and scale systems supporting both internal workloads and enterprise on-prem deployments
• Design and implement new infrastructure components (e.g. sandboxed execution environments)
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance as usage grows rapidly

What they’re looking for

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
• Deep understanding of cloud systems (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Background working on production infrastructure at scale
• Preference for candidates from infrastructure-heavy environments (e.g. cloud platforms, infra-focused startups)

Nice to have

• Experience with on-prem / enterprise deployments
• Familiarity with container runtimes, Linux systems, or sandboxing
• Background at high-bar engineering teams or fast-moving startups

Compensation & details

• $180K–$260K base + meaningful equity
• Series A (~$30M raised)
• ~17-person, high-talent-density team
• 5 days onsite in San Francisco
• Relocation support available
