Role summary

TRADER, a Canadian leader in digital automotive solutions and part of the AutoScout24 group, is seeking a Head of Analytics for its FinTech & AutoSync teams. This 18-month contract role, based in Toronto, will lead the transformation of fragmented analytics functions into a unified, high-impact organization. The Head of Analytics will define and execute an enterprise analytics strategy, standardize tools and methodologies, and drive data-driven decision-making across business units. Responsibilities include improving team structure, identifying automation opportunities, establishing KPIs, ensuring data governance, and partnering with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in analytics, including 5+ years in leadership, with expertise in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, and strong business acumen.

team. AutoSync supports over 3,500 dealerships nationwide, delivering cutting-edge software tools to simplify operations, boost marketing, and drive sales.

Head of Analytics
for FinTech & AutoSync, you will lead the transformation of the analytics organization across both areas, ensuring alignment with business needs while improving efficiency. You will unify fragmented teams, standardize ways of working, and drive adoption of new collaboration models to strengthen data-driven decision-making and business impact. This position is

What You Will Do

  • Lead the transformation of fragmented analytics teams into a unified, high-impact function
  • Define and execute an enterprise analytics strategy aligned with business goals
  • Standardize ways of working, tools, and methodologies across teams
  • Drive adoption of new collaboration models between analytics and business stakeholders
  • Improve team structure, clarify roles, and increase delivery efficiency
  • Identify automation and process improvements to scale output and speed
  • Establish KPIs to measure impact on revenue, efficiency, and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure strong data governance, compliance, and consistent data usage
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across functions (e.g., product, marketing, sales, finance)
  • Act as a thought leader to promote data-driven decision-making across the business

You come with

  • 10+ years in analytics, including 5+ years in leadership roles in complex organizations
  • Proven track record in leading analytics transformations and organizational change
  • Experience designing team structures, operating models, and scalable processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leadership
  • Solid expertise in analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong business understanding and ability to link analytics to commercial impact
  • Master’s degree or higher preferred

The base salary range for this position is CAD $155K– $175K.
This range reflects the expected compensation at the time of posting. The final offer may vary and can be higher based on relevant skills, experience, location, and market conditions. Based on the role, the total rewards package may also include benefits, bonus, and other employee offerings.
