Job Overview:

Our
customer
is seeking a
FedRAMP Platform Engineer
to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure cloud infrastructure aligned with
Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP)
standards. This role will work closely with engineering, security, and compliance teams to ensure the platform meets federal security requirements while maintaining reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP aligned with FedRAMP requirements.
- Implement and manage security controls based on NIST 800-53 frameworks.
- Support FedRAMP authorization processes including documentation and compliance activities.
- Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC
)
tools.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and vulnerability management across the platform.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and compliance teams to ensure ongoing adherence to federal security standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in
FedRAMP or government-regulated cloud environments
.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and secure architecture practices.
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53, ATO processes, and cloud security best practices.
