About The Role
B-Yond is seeking a Senior .NET Security Engineer to support FIPS-related enhancements within a distributed remote monitoring and management platform. This role will focus on secure application design, cryptographic implementation, and network communication within a .NET ecosystem.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in C#, security-focused development, and networking concepts, with the ability to operate in compliance-driven environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement FIPS-compliant cryptographic functionality in .NET
- Develop secure services and components using C#
- Implement and enhance secure network communication mechanisms
- Ensure cryptographic implementations align with industry standards
- Collaborate with product and architecture teams on secure design patterns
- Review and improve secure coding practices
- Work within compliance-driven software environments
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in .NET development
- Strong hands-on experience with C#
- Experience implementing cryptography in application environments
- Experience with secure networking concepts and protocols
- Strong understanding of secure coding best practices
Nice To Haves
- Experience with F# or willingness to learn
- Experience working in FIPS 140-2 / 140-3 environments
- Experience with secure distributed systems
