We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join our team of data scientists and AI/ML Engineers in creating innovative AI and software products for the Enterprise. As a member of our team, you will work closely with the AI COE developers and engineers and stakeholders to develop technologies that enhance our employees day-to-day capabilities at BAE Systems. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust machine-learning algorithms, including large language models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Conduct data discovery and analysis by cleaning, preprocessing, and transforming raw data into usable formats, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Produce visualizations and insights to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and maintain user interfaces for AI/ML applications using frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or js framework.
- Work with backend engineers to integrate frontend applications with AI/ML models and API

Requirements
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- A Bachelor's degree and 2+ year's of professional experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or AI Engineer, with a focus on generative AI and machine learning.
- Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their applications in AI.
- Experience with Agent + RAG system and its application in data science and AI.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and others.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services and solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Dataiku.
- Proficiency in frontend development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Master's or Ph.D. degree.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and big data processing (e.g., AWS Glue, Apache Spark).
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64935 - $110390
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
