Role summary

Seeking motivated frontend engineers for an unpaid internship within a fast-paced startup. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining responsive web applications, translating Figma designs into UI components, optimizing pages for performance and SEO, and integrating with backend services via REST APIs. Requires strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, Git/GitHub, HTML, CSS, responsive design, and REST API integration. Familiarity with user data handling and authentication is also necessary. Preferred candidates have experience with live applications and basic performance optimization/SEO knowledge.

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented frontend engineers to join our growing CS Web team. These roles offer the opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup environment and collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive, customer-facing web applications
Translate Figma designs into high-quality, production-ready UI components
Build and optimize pages for performance, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility
Integrate frontend components with backend services using REST APIs
Implement user authentication flows and manage user interaction data
Collaborate with design and backend teams to ensure consistency across the product

Requirements

Strong proficiency in JavaScript
Experience with React
Experience using Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
Experience building web applications that handle user data, authentication, and interaction tracking
Familiarity with REST APIs and frontend-backend integration
Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, user-focused design

Preferred

Eager to learn frontend web app development
Experience working on live or production-level web applications
Basic understanding of performance optimization and SEO
