Role summary
The City of Baltimore is seeking a hybrid Network Security Engineer focused on firewalls to manage, optimize, and secure its enterprise firewall environment. What You’ll Do

- Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure high availability
- Document configurations and contribute to security improvements
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related IT experience
- Strong background in firewalls, network security, and troubleshooting
- Experience with routing, switching, and enterprise network environments
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Preferred: IT lead experience, government experience, or advanced certifications (PMP, CISM, etc.)
