Role Description

The Residency Program Manager will oversee the daily operations and administration of the assigned residency program, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies. The role involves coordinating resident recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and evaluations, as well as managing budgets, program enhancement initiatives, and communication with stakeholders. The manager will serve as a pivotal resource for residents, faculty, and program leadership, supporting the success of the residency program and its participants.
Qualifications
- Operational management skills, including program coordination, scheduling, and budget management
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with attention to detail and documentation compliance
- Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with residents, faculty, and leadership
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address program needs and challenges
- Proficiency in office software, database management, and reporting tools
- Familiarity with GME accreditation requirements and healthcare education is preferred
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree; a master’s degree in healthcare administration, education, or a related field is a plus
- Experience in program management, particularly within a graduate medical education or healthcare setting
