Role summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Informatics Data Analyst to maintain supply chain master data, manage projects, and perform system testing. The role involves working with large statistical datasets for automated uploads, troubleshooting PeopleSoft issues, and training end-users through presentations and live demos. Responsibilities include identifying process improvements, collaborating on ad-hoc reports, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required, along with 4 years of data management experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word). Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems is essential.

Description
The Informatics Data Analyst 1 will demonstrate the ability to think critically and independently, while working to meet the needs of various stakeholders and end users with a positive attitude. Day-to-day workload will include maintaining supply chain master data across multiple systems, project management, and system testing. Must be able to work with large statistical data sets to perform automated uploads including Excel to component interfaces, troubleshoot and resolve complex PeopleSoft issues, and support/train end users. Trainings will consist of creating presentations and conducting live demos to train various teams throughout the organization. Additional tasks include monitoring key systems, identifying areas for process improvement, and collaborating with reporting team to develop ad-hoc reports. The analyst will maintain confidentiality and abide by all HIPPA guidelines, as necessary.
Estimated salary range for this position is $67,811.64 - $88,155.13 / year depending on experience.

Degrees:

  • Bachelors.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business, supply chain, or relevant field and 4 years of data management experience required.
  • Applicant may substitute at least 4 years of healthcare or supply chain related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to resolve problems, develop partnerships, and find resolutions with varying degrees of difficulty and detail.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, apply independent judgement in a demanding environment, and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in PeopleSoft, or a supply chain or healthcare based ERP system is required.
  • Experience with supply storage management solutions or vendor credentialing systems is preferred.
  • Applicant must possess advanced knowledge of the following Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
