We’re building the operating system for content production.
Beige powers video and photo shoots across the country, from weddings and events to corporate and branded content. We match clients with vetted creative partners and manage everything from booking through delivery.
We’re looking for a Head of Production to take ownership of how shoots actually get executed.
This is not a passive management role. You will be directly responsible for ensuring every project is staffed, coordinated, and delivered at a high standard.
What you’ll own
You will take full ownership of production from post-sale through shoot execution.
That includes:
• Assigning and managing creative partners (videographers, photographers)
• Ensuring every shoot is staffed on time with qualified talent
• Overseeing pre-production (shot lists, logistics, client alignment)
• Managing production timelines and resolving issues in real time
• Holding the team accountable to responsiveness and execution standards
• Improving systems across Asana, Slack, and internal workflows
If something goes wrong on a shoot, you own fixing it.
What we’re looking for
• 5+ years in production, operations, or line producing
• Strong experience in video/photo production or similar fast-paced environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once without dropping details
• High urgency and responsiveness. You don’t let things sit
• Clear communicator who can manage both clients and creatives
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where it doesn’t exist
Bonus if you’ve worked with marketplaces, freelancer networks, or scaled production teams.
What success looks like
• Every shoot is staffed quickly and correctly
• Creative partners are responsive and reliable
• Clients feel taken care of without escalation
• Internal teams have clear visibility into production status
• Fewer last-minute issues and stronger execution overall
Compensation
Competitive, based on experience and location.
How to apply
Send us:
• A brief note on your experience in production/ops
• 1–2 examples of complex shoots or projects you’ve managed
• Anything that shows how you think about execution and problem-solving
