Role summary

BET99, a leading online sportsbook and casino in Canada, is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist to join their CRM team. This role involves planning, building, and executing marketing campaigns across various channels (email, push, SMS, in-app) for different customer segments and lifecycle stages. Responsibilities include audience segmentation, bonus configuration, A/B testing, performance analysis, and copywriting. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in marketing operations or CRM, preferably with Optimove and in the iGaming industry. Familiarity with SQL, HTML, and Canadian market regulations is a plus. This is a fully remote position.

We are looking for a strategic and passionate Marketing Operations Specialist to join our CRM team.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CRM team and key stakeholders to plan, organize, and manage assigned campaigns, ensuring the right message is delivered to the right customer based on vertical, lifecycle stage, and behavioral triggers
  • Build, test, QA, and deliver multiple campaigns and journeys simultaneously, managing competing timelines across Live Casino, RNG, Sportsbook, and lifecycle initiatives ensuring campaigns meet brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
  • Execute end‑to‑end campaign builds, including bonus configuration, audience segmentation, eligibility logic, suppression rules, channel setup, scheduling, and post‑deployment validation
  • Develop, configure, and optimize bonus‑driven campaigns, ensuring alignment with promotional objectives, Responsible Gaming requirements, and regional compliance (ON vs ROC)
  • Develop and run Optimove campaigns and journeys, leveraging automation to improve efficiency, scale personalization, and support robust data management
  • Work cross‑functionally with Creative, Promotions, Partnerships, Brand, Customer Service, and Product teams to translate stakeholder objectives into CRM execution plans that support broader business and campaign goals
  • Contribute to CRM copywriting, including emails, push notifications, SMS, and in‑app messaging, ensuring content is on‑brand, compliant, customer‑centric, and optimized for performance
  • Ensure all CRM activity is planned in advance, while remaining agile and responsive to last‑minute changes, urgent promotional needs, or live performance optimizations
  • Brainstorm and implement innovative CRM strategies to address customer needs at different lifecycle stages and enhance the overall player experience
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests within Optimove and CRM tools to identify best‑performing strategies, optimize messaging, bonus structures, timing, and reduce churn
  • Analyze and provide reporting on campaign and journey performance, reviewing KPIs such as conversion, retention, engagement, and bonus effectiveness to identify optimization opportunities

Skills and Qualifications

  • Preference given to candidates with experience in a CRM role using Optimove
  • 2–3 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or a related role
  • iGaming industry experience considered a strong asset
  • Knowledge of HTML, SQL, or AMPscript considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle stages and the effectiveness of 1:1 personalized offers
  • Experience building and optimizing customer journeys and lifecycle campaigns
  • Familiarity with the Canadian market, including Sportsbook and Casino, and regional considerations (ON vs ROC)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with CRM copywriting
  • Knowledge of Canadian French considered an asset
  • Experience with Responsible Gaming and compliance-driven environments a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, negotiate, and work cross‑functionally in a multicultural environment
  • Comfortable presenting results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at various organizational levels
  • Highly adaptable, detail‑oriented, self‑accountable, and proactive with a strong “can‑do” attitude
  • Strong work ethic and ability to remain focused and productive in a fully remote, fast‑paced environment
