  • Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (YAML-based)
  • Manage Repos, Boards, Artifacts, and Test Plans in enterprise environments
  • Implement branching strategies, code reviews, and gated deployments
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates

HPC & Laboratory Systems

  • Support HPC clusters (e.g., Azure CycleCloud, SLURM)
  • Collaborate with bioinformatics teams to optimize compute workloads
  • Integrate LIMS platforms (LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage, etc.) with cloud systems
  • Ensure secure and reliable data flow across lab systems and analytics platforms

Genomics Data Pipelines

  • Deploy and manage genomics workflows (WGS, RNA-seq, variant calling)
  • Work with Docker, Singularity, and workflow engines like Nextflow, Snakemake, and WDL
  • Manage large-scale genomic data lifecycle including storage, archival, and retrieval

Security, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with GxP, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, and ISO 17025
  • Implement RBAC, audit logging, and secrets management using Azure Key Vault
  • Support audits and conduct infrastructure security reviews

Monitoring & Reliability

  • Configure monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
  • Define SLAs/SLOs and incident response processes
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience supporting laboratory systems with LIMS integration
  • Strong knowledge of HPC environments (SLURM, PBS, or CycleCloud)
  • Experience with genomics/bioinformatics pipelines and NGS data formats (FASTQ, BAM, VCF)
  • Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), or Singularity
  • Understanding of regulated environments (GxP, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (or equivalent)
