Product Manager — Platform & Game Operations (Chinese Mandarin Speaker)
Role summary
We are seeking a Product Manager to oversee platform infrastructure, AI tooling, and external integrations, with a strong product operations focus for game performance. This hybrid role involves translating cross-team needs into technical requirements, managing backend engineers, coordinating with external partners on integration timelines, and supporting game product operations through data analysis. The Product Manager will be the primary contact for internal product lines and external partners, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of systems like wallets, analytics, and payment integrations. The role requires fluency in Chinese Mandarin, proficiency in JIRA and Confluence, and experience with core game metrics and external partner coordination.
About the Role
We're looking for a Product Manager to drive delivery of our platform infrastructure, AI tooling, and external integrations — while bringing a product operations mindset to how our games perform in production. You will be the single point of contact between our internal product lines and all external partners — ensuring wallet systems, analytics pipelines, game content launches, and third-party integrations ship on time and work reliably.
This is a delivery + operations hybrid role. You'll translate cross-team needs into clear technical requirements, manage sprint execution with backend engineers, coordinate with external partners on tight integration timelines, and support game product operations through data-driven lifecycle management. You're equally comfortable shipping infrastructure and analyzing why a game's retention curve dropped.
You'll report to the Senior Product Operations Manager and collaborate daily with engineering leads and product managers across our US and offshore teams.
What You'll OwnPlatform Infrastructure & AI
- Drive delivery of shared infrastructure and AI projects — wallet systems, analytics pipelines, core APIs, payment integrations, and AI tooling
- Translate product requirements into well-specified PRDs with clear acceptance criteria
- Own task prioritization for the AI team, a shared resource serving all product lines — balance competing demands across product lines and ensure consistent delivery cadence
External Platform Integration
- Serve as the sole project interface for all external partnerships — SDK integrations, payment channels, partner onboarding, and compliance interfaces
- Own the full integration lifecycle from requirements through go-live
- Centralize external-facing communication to prevent information asymmetry across product lines
Game Product Operations Support
- Support game content launch operations — coordinate go-live checklists, monitor launch-day metrics, and drive post-launch reviews
- Track key game performance indicators (DAU, retention, ARPU, session depth) and translate data signals into actionable engineering or product tasks
- Collaborate with game producers on LiveOps event scheduling, A/B test coordination, and feature rollout planning
- Own operational runbooks for recurring game lifecycle events — new game onboarding, parameter tuning cycles, and content sunset procedures
Cross-team Enablement
- Align engineering leads and game producers on requirements before Sprint Planning to eliminate ambiguity
- Surface dependencies, blockers, and capacity needs through regular cross-team reviews
What We're Looking ForMust-Have
- 3+ years as a Product Manager, Technical Game Producer, or similar delivery-focused role in a software or game studio
- Can read technical designs, decompose them into actionable engineering tasks, and challenge estimates constructively
- Hands-on experience coordinating with external partners — third-party vendors, platform integrators, payment providers, or similar
- Game product operations awareness — understand core game metrics (DAU/MAU, retention, ARPU, LTV), can interpret data dashboards, and translate metric movements into project priorities
- Proficient in JIRA and Confluence (sprint boards, backlog management, PRD documentation)
- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) — reading, writing, and verbal; all PRDs and internal communication are conducted in Chinese
- Strong written communication — you write clear PRDs with unambiguous acceptance criteria
- Based in or willing to relocate to Irvine, CA
Strong Plus
- Game LiveOps or product operations experience — managed game content launches, event scheduling, A/B testing, or player lifecycle operations in a live environment
- Experience with AI/ML or LLM projects — AI tool development, prompt engineering workflows, or AI-assisted production pipelines
- Game development experience — shipped titles, managed game production pipelines, or worked with game engines
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMP certification
- Cross-timezone collaboration experience (especially US ↔ offshore teams)
- Familiarity with game analytics platforms and comfort building operational dashboards
- iGaming, fintech, or real-money platform experience
