Role summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Connections Group Program Manager to lead the development, implementation, and management of 12 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) across its East and West Regions. This hybrid role requires frequent onsite presence in the St. Louis area. The Program Manager will partner with Belonging & Inclusion leadership, executive leadership, and ERG Co-leads to deliver programming that cultivates an inclusive workplace and supports employee belonging. The position involves managing HR strategic initiatives, driving HR results through programmatic and project-related efforts, including data management, reporting, and ensuring alignment across HR workstreams and deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of experience, with 2-5 years in a supervisory capacity.

BJC Connections Groups (Employee Resources Groups/ERGs) were created to provide a sense of community, belonging and connection to employees across BJC Health. The BJC Connections Group Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the organization’s 12 Connections Groups (Employee Resource Groups) across the East and West Regions. In this role, the Program Manager partners with Belonging & Inclusion leadership, BJC Health executive leadership, and Connections Group Co-leads to provide programming that fosters an inclusive workplace culture and supports employee belonging.
This is a hybrid position that requires being on site frequently. Must be located in the St. Louis area.

**Preferred Qualifications**
Role Purpose
The Human Resources (HR) Program Manager supports the strategic initiatives and responsibilities needed within HR to ensure alignment across workstream and people deliverables. The incumbent is responsible for the programmatic and project related initiatives that help drive HR results. This includes but is not limited to data management and analysis, reporting, coordination of efforts that help drive efficiencies and consistency, ensuring strategic alignment of projects and objects within the function and organization. The incumbent will also work closely with other leaders and team members across HR to support HR senior leadership.
**Responsibilities**

  • Works as a liaison between leadership team, provider(s), employees, and administration, providing timely communication of organizational updates. Thinks strategically by championing innovative and performance improving change.
  • Maintains calendar of meetings, accepting or declining commitments and prioritizing requests. Makes travel arrangements, prepares itineraries, prepares and maintains expense reports. Maintains files and department budgets, orders and maintains appropriate stock of office supplies. Attends assigned meetings and records and prepares minutes.
  • Manages multiple complex projects, overseeing collaborations between cross-functional stakeholder teams for timely, successful achievement of goals; serves as a leadership liaison for stakeholders; manages matters of policy and institutional significance on behalf of HR leadership.
  • Oversees portfolio management and project deliverables to ensure alignment of HR initiatives and maintenance of timelines and deliverable in conjunction with other HR workstreams; utilizes outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills to work effectively with people at all levels within an organization.
  • Supports leadership’s (Vice President and Directors) communication and correspondence. Prepares and provides feedback on presentation materials for the Vice President’s internal and external speaking engagements. Exercises independent judgement to help drive consistent and efficient results and outcomes that align across HR initiatives and programs.
  • Manages and has oversight for tasks and team members related to:- Program/Portfolio project makeup including operations related work - Project prioritization within programs/portfolios- Project scoping, planning, execution, analysis and tracking- Change management- Team facilitation- Risk/issue identification and mitigation- Stakeholder tollgates/reports
