Role summary
Blankfactor is seeking a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure and a strong understanding of networking and infrastructure security. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Bicep. The engineer will also be responsible for monitoring system performance, ensuring reliability, and implementing security best practices across cloud, network, and DevOps processes. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and network security tools such as Akamai and Fortinet is expected. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within engineering teams to enhance deployment processes and operational efficiency.

networking and infrastructure security
. This role will be responsible for supporting cloud environments, automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure reliability, and network-related components across modern enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong DevOps mindset, hands-on Azure expertise, and familiarity with enterprise networking and security tools such as
Akamai
and
Fortinet
.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure in
Azure
- Build and optimize
CI/CD pipelines
to support application delivery and deployment automation
- Manage
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using tools such as
Terraform
,
Bicep
, or similar
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability across cloud and infrastructure environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes, release cycles, and operational efficiency
- Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms where applicable (e.g.,
Docker
,
Kubernetes
)
- Implement and maintain
security best practices
across cloud, network, and DevOps processes
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and networking issues in production and non-production environments
- Support networking configurations and integrations across cloud and enterprise environments
- Document architecture, automation workflows, and operational procedures
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a
DevOps Engineer
,
Cloud Engineer
, or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with
Microsoft Azure
- Experience building and maintaining
CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of
Infrastructure as Code

- Experience with:
