The BCA Engineering Operations and Enablement team is seeking a User Validation and Test Engineering Tech. Specialist - Release Focal to join our Engineering Processes and Tools User Validation and Test (UV&T) team in Everett, Washington, as a Release Focal.

This position is integral to the global expansion of services within Engineering and will connect with an established network of testers across our U.S.-based sites and Global Design Centers. The role will facilitate full collaboration, knowledge sharing, and effectiveness across the entire engineering value stream.

The Engineering Processes and Tools Test and Validation Release Focal is responsible for developing, implementing and executing test plans to ensure complete and comprehensive validation of engineering processes and tools. You will ensure that all tools and processes meet the required standards and specifications of the business before deployment in production.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance product quality, streamline workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify testing requirements and specifications of engineering tools and processes.
  • Develop, plan and coordinate the execution of test plans for the validation of engineering processes and tools pre-production.
  • Work closely with Engineering functions to identify testers to align with the plans.
  • Ensure thorough communication to all stakeholders during development and execution of test plans.
  • Facilitate thorough testing and validation of engineering tools to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with the business.
  • Capture and analyze test results and provide detailed reports on progress/performance to plan.
  • Capture, prioritize and assign issues for resolutions.
  • Ensure continuous improvements in the efficiency of our testing methodologies.
  • Develop and implement best practices for testing and validation.
  • Consult with Engineering teams to discover continuous improvement opportunities and to adopt new testing and validation best-practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in engineering tools and processes test and validation methods.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in testing and validation of engineering processes and tools in a high velocity and pressure environment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles/methodologies and CADCAM tools.
  • Strong understanding in IT software deployment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Strong project management skills and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience), Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with software development and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and techniques for testing and validation.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
