About the Opportunity

Our client, a Fortune 500 aviation company, is seeking a transitioning service member for a SkillBridge fellowship as a Data Analyst within their Digital Portfolio Office. This is an opportunity with strong long-term career growth at a highly respected organization.

This role is ideal for a transitioning professional interested in building a career in data analytics, product analytics, or digital strategy within a large enterprise environment. The Data Analyst will support data-driven decision-making across digital products, ensuring that insights from data and stakeholder inputs are embedded into execution.

This position provides hands-on exposure to enterprise data environments, analytics workflows, stakeholder reporting, and digital product performance tracking.

The Role

As a SkillBridge Data Analyst, you will support Product Managers, Product Owners, and digital teams by analyzing data, generating insights, and helping guide product and operational decisions. You will work with datasets related to product usage, performance, and customer behavior, helping translate data into actionable insights for the team. This role is well suited for individuals who are analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to build strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data analysis within an enterprise setting.

What You Will Do

Data Analysis & Insights

•     Analyze product, operational, and customer data to identify trends and insights

•     Support data-driven decision-making across digital product teams

•     Develop queries and datasets using SQL and/or Python

•     Assist in building reports and dashboards to track product performance

Product & Analytics Support

•     Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand data needs

•     Translate business questions into data queries and analysis

•     Support backlog prioritization with data insights and performance metrics

•     Help define and track key performance indicators (KPIs)

Reporting & Stakeholder Support

•     Prepare and present insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format

•     Support recurring reporting on product performance and operational metrics

•     Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting outputs

Agile & Team Collaboration

•     Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives)

•     Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders

•     Support documentation of data definitions, metrics, and analysis outputs

Required Qualifications

•     Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

•     Actively transitioning service member

•     Approved and eligible for the DoD SkillBridge Program

•     Able to complete SkillBridge onsite in Atlanta, GA

•     Reliable means of transportation

•     Strong analytical ability using Excel, SQL, and/or Python

•     Interest in data analytics, product analytics, or digital strategy

•     Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus
