Brahma Consulting Group is assisting our client in their search for Product Designers. We have multiple roles (5+) and
candidates can sit in either San Francisco, New York or Seattle.
We are looking for Senior Product Designers who thrive on turning massive complexity into intuitive, elegant user experiences. You won’t just be designing "features"; you will be building the foundational systems that power our entire product ecosystem.
This role is perfect for a designer who enjoys "detective work"—uncovering deep business logic, understanding technical constraints, and designing solutions that scale across thousands of users and multiple product verticals.
What You’ll Do
- Own the End-to-End Journey: Lead the design process for a core product pillar, from initial discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and engineering hand-off.
- Systems Thinking: Design scalable frameworks and components that maintain consistency across a diverse suite of interconnected applications.
- Simplify Complexity: Take data-heavy workflows (e.g., financial ledgers, automated workflows, or administrative dashboards) and make them effortless for both power users and novices.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to define the roadmap, navigate technical trade-offs, and ensure the final build matches the design intent.
- Iterate Based on Data: Use qualitative user research and quantitative metrics to validate your designs and continuously improve the user experience.
Who You Are
- An Expert Craftsperson: You have a world-class eye for UI/UX. You understand that in B2B, "beauty" is defined by clarity, speed, and reliability.
- Technically Minded: You are comfortable speaking the language of engineers. You understand how APIs, data structures, and state management impact the user interface.
- A Logical Thinker: You enjoy mapping out complex "if/then" logic and edge cases. You don’t just design the "happy path."
- Fluent in Modern Tools: You are a Figma power user and are experienced in maintaining and contributing to shared design systems.
- B2B/Enterprise Veteran: You have 5+ years of experience designing complex software—ideally in FinTech, HRTech, IT Management, or Developer Tools.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with data visualization and designing for "data-dense" environments.
- The ability to write basic front-end code (HTML/CSS/React) or create high-fidelity motion prototypes.
- Experience designing Platform/Horizontal tools (e.g., workflow builders, permission engines, or reporting suites).
