Seeking a Cloud & Network Security Engineer with 4-8+ years of experience in network engineering and security, focusing on Microsoft technologies. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing secure network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, enforcing security best practices, configuring firewalls and VPNs, and managing identity controls with Azure AD/Entra ID. The role requires monitoring and responding to security incidents, ensuring secure integration across Microsoft 365 and Azure, and maintaining documentation for audits and compliance. Advanced Microsoft certifications like SC-100 or SC-500 are highly valued.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud & Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft security technologies and modern network infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals holding (or pursuing) advanced Microsoft certifications such as SC-100 (Cybersecurity Architect) or SC-500, with a passion for securing enterprise environments across hybrid and cloud platforms.

You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and securing network architectures while ensuring compliance with industry security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
  • Architect and enforce security best practices aligned with Microsoft security frameworks
  • Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching technologies
  • Implement identity and access controls using Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to network security incidents and vulnerabilities
  • Ensure secure integration across Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture
  • Maintain documentation and support audits, compliance, and governance initiatives Required Qualifications
  • 4–8+ years of experience in Network Engineering / Network Security
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing & switching
  • Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)
  • VPN technologies and network segmentation
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security tools
  • Experience with Azure AD (Entra ID), Conditional Access, Identity Protection
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
