Software Engineer Intern

We are looking for a
Student Intern in Azure & AI
who is eager to gain hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services and applied AI/ML solutions. This internship is designed as a
learning-focused role
under close mentorship and supervision, aligned with academic objectives.

The intern will support research, prototyping, and experimentation initiatives.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this internship, the student will:

• Understand Azure cloud fundamentals and architecture
• Gain exposure to Azure AI services and machine learning workflows
• Learn how AI solutions are designed, deployed, and monitored
• Develop practical skills in cloud security, data handling, and MLOps basics
• Work in an Agile, real-world engineering environment

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in setting up and exploring
Microsoft Azure services
(Azure Portal, Azure AI Studio, Azure ML, Cognitive Services)
- Support development of
AI/ML proofs-of-concept
(document processing, vision, NLP, or analytics use cases)
- Help with
data preparation
, experimentation, and model evaluation
- Participate in
code reviews, architecture discussions, and design sessions
- Document findings, experiments, and learning outcomes
- Collaborate with mentors on small, well-defined tasks and research initiatives
- Follow best practices for security, privacy, and responsible AI

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

• Familiarity with:
• Typescript or Angular
• Microsoft Azure (Azure Fundamentals – AZ-900 is a plus)
• Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)
• Git/GitHub
• APIs and REST services
• Exposure to:
• Computer Vision or NLP
• Docker or CI/CD basics
• Power BI or data visualization
