Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of application or data operations
  • Ability to write clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong Confluence experience
  • Agile experience using Jira
  • Operational runbook documentation experience
  • Strong ServiceNow Reporting experience
  • Metric reporting experience – Tableau and/or PowerBI
  • Familiarity with database, data platforms, and data management products
  • Effective problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Data analytics experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop KPIs, SLOs, and SLIs based on incident trends for centralized data operations team
  • Prepare, update, and maintain technical documentation related to operational procedures/runbooks, knowledge articles, incident management, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Gather, analyze, and document incident root cause analysis and translate into engineering backlog
  • Create comprehensive operating procedures including workflow diagrams
  • Make recommendations on process and efficiency improvements
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with industry best practices
  • Risk/controls compliance as it applies to operational support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineering teams, data quality team, and MF technical management, to ensure alignment to operational issues and trends
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews and contribute to process improvements for enhanced business reliability.
  • Communicate incident resolutions to stakeholders.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into Jira backlog with prioritization

BA role into a more generalized operational analyst role that is focused on reporting of operational metrics, runbook/knowledge documentation, and stakeholder alignment to operational trend analysis. This role will be primary communicator with engineering teams related to operational performance and backlog prioritization
