Role Description

This is an unpaid Software Engineer Intern position, designed for full-time engagement and located on-site in Nepean, ON. As an intern, you will assist in developing and enhancing critical features within BuildAtlas. Responsibilities include contributing to back-end development tasks, coding in object-oriented programming languages, collaborating with the software engineering team, and troubleshooting software issues. This role offers hands-on experience in the software development lifecycle within a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
• Experience with Back-End Web Development and Software Development processes
• Experience with frontend Web Development.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site, collaborative team environment
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with CI/CD tools, build pipeline visualization or Docker is a plus
