Role summary

C. Mack Solutions is seeking a Backend Engineer with 4-7 years of experience in backend development, data engineering, and cloud services. The role involves building scalable GenAI-enabled web applications, designing GenAI workflows, implementing cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and managing databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Responsibilities include developing data pipelines, ETL processes, performing testing and debugging, and maintaining technical documentation. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, strong Python proficiency, and experience with GenAI tools like OpenAI and Gemini are required. An active CBP Public Trust or Top Secret clearance is mandatory.

C. Mack Solutions is seeking a motivated backend engineer with strong experience in backend development, data engineering, and cloud services. You’ll help build scalable GenAI-enabled web applications and collaborate within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain efficient backend systems and APIs.
  • Design GenAI-driven workflows, integrating large language models.
  • Implement cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for scalability and security.
  • Manage and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and support ETL processes.
  • Perform testing, debugging, and ensure backend quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain clear technical documentation.

Requirements:

Candidate must have an Active CBP Public Trust or Top Secret clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4–7 years’ backend development experience.
  • Strong Python proficiency.
  • Database expertise (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • RESTful API and cloud platform experience.
  • Hands-on with GenAI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini).
  • Familiar with Git version control.
  • Data engineering experience (ETL pipelines, data warehousing, tools like Spark or Airflow).
