A growing environmental consultancy seeks a licensed Environmental Project Manager (LSP/LEP) to lead site assessment and remediation projects. This role involves managing and developing a team, acting as a key client and regulator contact, and driving projects both technically and commercially. Environmental Project Manager / Senior Scientist – Licensed or soon to be (LSP / LEP)
A well-established environmental consultancy is entering a
major growth phase across New England
and is looking to bring in a
licensed leader
to help drive that next chapter.
This isn’t just another Environmental Project Manager role.
You’ll be stepping into a position where you can
take real ownership
– leading projects, shaping client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and playing a key role in
scaling a high-performing site assessment and remediation team
.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading site assessment, remediation, and closure projects (insudtrial, retail petroleum-heavy portfolio)
- Signing and stamping regulatory documentation
- Managing and developing the team (with wider influence across multiple offices)
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and regulators
- Driving projects forward commercially and technically
What matters most:
- LSP (Massachusetts) and/or LEP (Connecticut) – or on route!
- Strong background in site investigation, remediation & regulatory frameworks (MCP / RSRs)
- Ability to
lead from the front
– technically credible, but also commercially aware
- Someone who enjoys mentoring and helping teams grow
