This role involves overseeing the management, inventory, accountability, and lifecycle support of training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations (TADSS) crucial for military training events. The Program Manager will ensure operational readiness and effective support across various functional areas, including simulation systems and battlefield training equipment. The position requires strong knowledge of training support management, policy interpretation, and reporting, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience or management experience at the National Training Center. This is an onsite, full-time role in Ft. Irwin, California.

CALIBRE is seeking a Program Manager to support the Fort Irwin Training Support Center (TSC). The TSC provides a wide range of training support services to enhance individual and collective training across all echelons at the National Training Center (NTC).

The TSC serves as the central organization responsible for issuing, receiving, maintaining, and managing training devices, as well as providing simulations and simulators in support of all training events at Fort Irwin. This includes support across multiple functional areas such as the Tactical Engagement Simulation System (TESS) Warehouse, Training Aids Supply Center (TASC), Training Aid Production Center (TAPC), Audio-Visual Information Development Section (AVIDS), Combat Training Systems (CTS), Counter Improvised Explosive Devices Integration Cell (CI2C), Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS), and the Battery Maintenance Shop.

The Program Manager will oversee operations supporting Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), including systems such as the Engagement Skills Trainer (EST), HMMWV Egress Trainer (HEAT), and Call for Fire Trainer (CFFT). This role ensures effective lifecycle management, accountability, and operational readiness of all training support assets.

## Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS)
  • Ability to manage inventory, accountability, and lifecycle support of training equipment
  • Experience overseeing training support functions including issue, receipt, storage, and maintenance
  • Ability to plan, interpret, and communicate policies and procedures to team members
  • Strong ability to manage and articulate requirements in support of training objectives
  • Experience reviewing, writing, and preparing reports and operational documentation
  • Knowledge of simulation systems, battlefield training equipment, and support operations
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

## Required Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS)
  • Ability to manage inventory, accountability, and lifecycle support of training equipment
  • Experience overseeing training support functions including issue, receipt, storage, and maintenance
  • Ability to plan, interpret, and communicate policies and procedures to team members
  • Strong ability to manage and articulate requirements in support of training objectives
  • Experience reviewing, writing, and preparing reports and operational documentation

### Required Experience

  • Five (5) or more years of Training Support Management experience OR
  • Five (5) or more years of management experience at the National Training Center (NTC)
  • Experience supporting large-scale training operations or military training environments
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple functional training support areas

### Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Fort Irwin or similar large-scale training centers
  • Familiarity with TESS, TASC, TAPC, AVIDS, CTS, CI2C, and SUAS operations
  • Prior military experience or experience supporting DoD training missions

The base salary for this position is $100,000 to $125,000, depending on experience.
