Information Security Engineer
Role summary
We are seeking a skilled Information Security Engineer to enhance our security engineering capabilities in a cloud-first environment. This hands-on role focuses on securing AWS infrastructure, improving threat detection, and implementing modern security solutions across cloud and hybrid ecosystems. Responsibilities include designing and managing security controls, utilizing CSPM tools, implementing vulnerability management, EDR, and DLP solutions, performing threat modeling and risk assessments, responding to security incidents, and collaborating with engineering teams to embed security best practices. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering and strong hands-on experience with AWS security services.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to strengthen and scale our security engineering capabilities in a cloud-first environment. This is a hands-on role focused on securing AWS infrastructure, enhancing threat detection, and implementing modern security solutions across cloud and hybrid ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security controls across AWS environments
- Work with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools to identify and remediate risks
- Implement and optimize solutions for vulnerability management, EDR, and DLP
- Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and IT teams to embed security best practices
- Continuously improve security posture through automation and tooling enhancements
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Information Technology
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with
AWS security services
- Proven expertise in:
- Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools
- Vulnerability Management platforms
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies
- Solid understanding of modern security architectures, threat modeling, and risk mitigation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
