We are seeking a detail-oriented
Data Analyst
with strong
Salesforce platform expertise
to support data management, reporting, and process optimization initiatives. This role focuses on maintaining data integrity, building insightful reports/dashboards, and ensuring smooth data operations within Salesforce and related systems.
The ideal candidate combines technical Salesforce knowledge with strong analytical thinking and high accuracy in data handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Salesforce data with accuracy and consistency
- Perform data entry, cleansing, and validation
- Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, gaps, and inconsistencies
- Support data imports/exports and integrations
- Troubleshoot reporting discrepancies
- Document processes and reporting standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve data workflows
Salesforce Platform Proficiency
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Lightning and/or Classic
- Understanding of Objects, Fields, Record Types, Page Layouts
- Experience with custom objects and relationships (lookup/master-detail)
Data Entry & Management
- Accurate and efficient data handling
- Experience with Data Loader / Data Import Wizard
- Knowledge of validation rules and duplicate management
Reporting & Dashboards
- Experience creating reports using Salesforce Report Builder
- Dashboard creation with filters and summary formulas
- Knowledge of standard vs. custom report types
Excel & Data Tools
- Intermediate to advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formatting)
- Familiarity with Google Sheets or similar tools
Analytical Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High accuracy in reporting
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of Salesforce data flow
- Process documentation capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with government, arts, or cultural organizations
- Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) experience
- Experience Cloud familiarity
- Basic knowledge of APIs and integrations
