Role summary
A fast-paced veterinary clinic is seeking an energetic and knowledgeable individual to join their team as a Veterinary Assistant/Technician/Receptionist. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service in a busy environment, demonstrating multitasking abilities and physical stamina. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting veterinarians, patient restraint, maintaining medical records, performing lab work, assisting with diagnostics, filling prescriptions, and ensuring compassionate patient care. Availability on Saturdays and some evenings is required. This part-time, onsite role offers a flexible schedule and benefits.
- We are a fast paced veterinary clinic currently looking for someone who is energetic and knowledgeable about pets! An experienced (or newly registered) veterinary technician or experienced veterinary assistant is desired to provide excellent customer service. The applicant should be able to work in a busy work environment, be able to multitask and be able to move efficiently (i.e. stand, walk, kneel, stoop and lift). Reliable and detail-oriented individuals should apply! The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine, patient care and customer service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting doctors, restraining patients, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, maintaining medical records, performing laboratory work, assisting with diagnostic imaging, filling prescriptions, maintaining patient flow and providing compassionate care of pets.
Saturday and some evening availability required.
