Capgemini is seeking a hands-on Cloud Security Architect/Engineer with real-world FedRAMP implementation experience for a remote, full-time position. The role requires deep practical knowledge of implementing and enforcing security controls in cloud environments, specifically focusing on FedRAMP Moderate to High requirements. Responsibilities include deploying and validating security policies, working with data protection teams, and ensuring controls are effective and auditable. Role Overview

Looking for a
hands-on Cloud Security Architect/Engineer
with
real-world FedRAMP implementation experience
. This role is not compliance-only — the candidate must have
actually implemented and enforced security controls
in cloud environments.

Must‑Have Skills

- Strong hands-on FedRAMP implementation experience
(not just standards knowledge)
- Strong foundational understanding of NIST controls
and how to implement them in an environment potentially pursuing
FedRAMP Moderate to High
- Practical experience with
NIST, CIS, and NIS frameworks
- Hands-on work with
cloud security tools
for detection and prevention
- Policy management
: creating, validating, and enforcing rule sets
- Experience implementing
security controls in cloud environments
- Ability to work with multiple teams and
drive controls into production

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and enforce
FedRAMP controls
in cloud platforms
- Review existing security frameworks and
close gaps between standards and implementation
- Deploy and validate
security policies and rule sets
- Work with
data protection and cryptography teams
to enforce cloud security controls
- Ensure security controls are
effective, auditable, and operational
- Identify issues like
over‑provisioning and under‑utilization
from a security and governance perspective

architecture knowledge + engineering execution
- Experience in
regulated or enterprise cloud environments
preferred.

The base salary range for the tagged location is [$119015 to $170000] annually- depending on relevant experience.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
