
Program Manager, Business Transformation
Role summary
Carrier is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead business transformation and profitability expansion for their North America Commercial HVAC Equipment business. This role involves overseeing long-term organizational goals and collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and service. Key responsibilities include analyzing data to identify growth opportunities, managing projects through their full lifecycle, communicating project status to all organizational levels, and driving the adoption of changes to improve business profitability. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects are required, along with 1+ years of customer experience. Knowledge of the HVAC industry is a plus.

About this role
Carrier’s Commercial HVAC business is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead the transformation and profitability expansion effort for our North America Equipment. This individual will oversee the fulfillment of long-term organizational goals and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders on initiatives that will drive growth within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Function as a program manager to support North America portfolio optimization, collaborating with global and regional product management, sales, and service teams.
- Lead the analysis of data from internal and external sources to identify and prioritize opportunities for profitability expansion and growth through targeted products or options for market segments.
- Lead projects and programs for the opportunities identified, ensuring accountability to timelines, deliverables, and business outcomes
- Manage and communicate project status including milestones, risks, and action items to drive completion in a timely manner (on-time, in-budget) to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive presentations
- Deploy and drive adoption of changes identified to improve the profitability of the business
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects through the full project lifecycle
- 1+ years of experience working with customers

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of HVAC or industrial equipment industries are a plus
- Excellent business acumen
