Role summary

Casa de las Campanas is seeking a Director of Quality & Performance Improvement to join their senior living community in Rancho Bernardo. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards in resident care, regulatory compliance, and operational performance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a related field, at least five years of healthcare management experience, and strong knowledge of quality measures, project management, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality plans, monitoring resident outcomes, conducting program evaluations, investigating incidents, and leading staff training on quality initiatives.

Pay: $120,000 / Annually

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health administration, or related field required (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum of five years of management experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of quality measures and project management
  • Experience with regulatory compliance (state and federal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and medical records systems
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and implement solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement quality improvement and assurance plans
  • Monitor resident care, satisfaction, and outcomes
  • Conduct evaluations of health center programs and services
  • Investigate incidents, complaints, and grievances
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement committees
  • Lead survey preparation and plans of correction
  • Train and educate staff on quality initiatives and protocols
  • Collaborate with leadership and frontline staff to improve processes
