Role summary
The Business/Sales Data Analyst will collect, analyze, and report on sales and operational data to enhance performance, visibility, and decision-making across a multi-site organization. This role involves partnering with leadership to gather accurate information, identify trends, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales growth and operational efficiency. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, developing reports and dashboards, and translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. A key aspect of the role is becoming a subject-matter expert in primary business systems like NetSuite.

Desired Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, statistics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably supporting sales or commercial teams.
- Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience working with business systems (e.g., NetSuite) preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Role Summary:
The Data Analyst supports our multi-site organization by collecting, analyzing, and reporting sales and operational data to improve performance, visibility, and decision-making across locations. This role partners with corporate and market leadership to gather correct and timely information, identify trends, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) around sales/revenue growth and operational efficiency. This position is the "gearbox" for the information upon which we run our business.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure data timeliness, accuracy and consistency across business and reporting systems.
- Produce and publish regular reports for market performance, forecasting and other key business metrics.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for sales leadership and regional managers.
- Architect new or ad hoc reports as necessary to support the business.
- Identify metrics and analysis that improves the visibility and predictability of performance.
- Become a subject-matter-expert in the use of our primary business system (NetSuite) and other tools
- Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in sales performance across sites.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to improve reporting processes and data quality.
